May 27 2020
In response to Premier McNeil’s announcement today we can confirm that we will be able to return to a more expanded surgical caseload from 5th June 2020. We will still be operating under the guidelines set out by Health Nova Scotia. Due to our small location, we will still be restricting clients from entering the premises unless strictly necessary. However, we will now be able to bring patients into the clinic for examination whilst owners wait outside.
We will be working through the unprecedented backlog of surgical cases as rapidly as possible, but this may still mean that there is a significant delay in getting to the surgery. My staff and I are aware that every patient is special and we will try to work through cases in the most efficient way possible.
If you feel that your pet’s condition has changed since your original consultation please contact the clinic to update us.
We will be moving to our new larger location in a number of weeks and this will allow more effective social distancing and a faster throughput of cases.
All the best, stay safe and wash your hands!
